Anthropocene Epoch
Origin: Gr. ἐποχή epochḗ de nthropo- 'antropo-' y el gr. καινός kainós & Lat. epocha
Is the name given by some geologists and others to the current geological era that followed the Holocene Epoch into which Homo sapiens, sapiens emerged and flourished. It emphasizes the great impact of human behavior on all once "natural" process of the biosphere.
