Dystopia

Any real or imaginary society with many undesirable features. The opposite of Utopia. Depicts a decline into a more primitive and violent world. An imagined society or community with highly undesirable or frightening attributes like totalitarian control - examples are George Orwell#39;s 1984, Aldous Huxley#39;s Brave New World and Anthony Burgess’s 1984, Clockwork Orange.
