Equilibrium models
Origin: Lat. aequilibrĭum, modello
In a future context, refers to social or global models that portray societies, systems or the globe in a hypothetical state of equilibrium. More an aid to research and thinking than a practical proposition, though useful in, e.g., considering ZPG (zero population growth) and steady-state economies. A tool for considering the dynamics of a transition to sustainability.
Spanish: Modelos de equilibrio.
