Fuzzy logic
Origin: Lat. diffussus, Gr. -λογία
Fuzzy logic is derived from fuzzy set theory dealing with reasoning that is approximate rather than precisely deduced from classical predicate logic. Most systems of logic require that values be sharply defined as true or false; in fuzzy systems values can exist between these extremes.
