Origin: Lat. globus, problematĭcus, Gr. προβληματικός
Term coined by the Club of Rome to describe the interlocking series of serious global problems comprising: pollution, overpopulation, loss of biodiversity, deforestation, armed conflict, starvation, and the widening gap between the rich and the poor.
