Horizon scanning
Origin: Lat. horĭzon, -ontis, gr. ὁρίζων, -οντος , lat. explorāre
A “look-out” or early warning system designed to identify interesting and important developments as soon as possible. It usually involves manual or automated literature review, continuous analysis of Websites and seminars on a wide variety of topics, and interviews.
