Likert scale
Origin: Lat. scala, gr. σκάλα
A scale used in obtaining answers in an interview or questionnaire, generally containing 5 or 7 alternate choices such as “very high, high, moderate, low, and very low.” This can be a part of an attitude analysis technique for individuals or groups. It is necessary to provide clear instructions to respondents and ensure they have understood what to do.
