MAO. Matrix actors x objectives
Origin: Lat. matrix, -īcis, actor, -ōris, obiectus
Visual comparison of the diagrams of convergences and divergences. With larger tables incorporating about 10 actors and 20 or so objectives, we must make use of a classic property of binary matrix calculation; by multiplying a matrix by its transpose we obtain the number of factors in common for each pair of lines in the original matrix. The transposed form of MAO is called MOA.
