S-curve
Origin: S Lat. curvāre
An “S-Curve” or “Sigmoid Curve” is a concept developed by Charles Handy to illustrate the development of competence in a new domain of expertise. When the process begins progress is slow and limited, but as time and experience accumulate then progress accelerates and can become exponential. This analogy has also been used outside of learning, for things like research and development, or the creation of a business.
Spanish: Curva S
