Security foresight

Is a means to collectively produce insights into the context of overall security, analyze the usefulness of those insights, and apply the findings to the development of policy options and action plans which improve the prospects for necessary and sufficient security in the future. Security is an interconnected framework of: Five domains; national security, homeland security, public safety, competent response to and recovery from natural and industrial disasters, and thoughtful awareness of existential threats to mankind, and Seven freedoms from fear and want related to disease, hunger, unemployment, crime, social conflict, political repression and degradation of the environment.
