Strange attractor
Origin: Lat. extranĕus, attrahĕre
The collection of variables that holds a chaotic nonlinear system together and gives it its shape. The attraction of the variables creates the boundaries of the pattern and the interactions of the variables create the internal design that never repeats itself.
