Strategic management
Origin: Lat. strategicus gestio, -ōnis
Refers to the action of “managing” a series of key strategic “elements” or “links”, in order to build and maintain competitive advantage. If the process of turning the strategic blueprint into reality is called the road map, then the process of implementing or practicing the road map is strategic management.
