Top-down process

Proceeding from the general to the specific. Moving from the systems to subsystems to components. Top-down processes are deductive and this aggregate. When sketched, top-down processes resemble an organization chart, a hierarchy, in which the most general form is at the top of the chart and the remainder of the chart shows the disaggregation into increasingly finer and finer components.
