In statistics, a frequency distribution is a graph or table showing the number of times that a variable falls within a given range. A typical frequency distribution graph is shown below: In this case the abscissa shows the ranges (0-10, 10-15, etc.) and the ordinate shows the number of times an observed parameter fell within these ranges.
