Frequency distribution. Given a collection of observed values of some attribute of an element, the array (tabular or graphic) showing the frequency with which each possible value appeared in the collection. Specific properties of frequency distributions can be expressed with different statistical measurements (average or arithmetic mean, mode or most frequent value, median or medium value, variance.
