Logarithmic growth
Origin: Gr. λόγος, ἀριθμός, Lat. crescĕre
In mathematics, logarithmic growth describes a phenomenon in which the value of a variable changes as a logarithm function. e.g. y = C log x where, for example, y is the value of a variable and x is the year. Note that any logarithm base can be used, since one can be arithmetically converted to any other.
