Noosphere

Based on the Greek, noosphere, can be translated as the "sphere of human thought." In Vernadsky's concept, the noosphere is the third phase of development of the Earth; the geosphere is the first, and the biosphere is the second.). The noosphere is the third and is transforming the biosphere in a manner similar to the way that the biosphere transformed the geosphere. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin uses the word to refer to a global consciousness resulting from interactions of human minds.
