Point of inflection
Origin: Lat punctum, inflexĭo, -ōnis
The point at which an “S-shaped” curve changes slope, in an ascending curve, from convex to concave from ever-increasing upward to bending over toward an asymptote (or in a descending curve from concave to convex).
