Positive feedback
Origin: Del lat. positīvus retro- alimentum
A form of circular causality within a causal loop in a model or real-life, in which an increase of one element in the loop feeds back through the system in a way that increases the variable that began the chain. Systems with excessive positive feedback tend toward instability.
