Scenario levels

Depending on the key questions or issues to be addressed, scenarios portray change at various levels. Macro Environment – the larger social, economic, political, technological and ecological setting in which the company and its industry exist. Operating Environment – the forces that are most important to a particular industry or organization. The Organization – alternative futures for the organization rather than its environment.
