Origin: Lat. mundus, mirāri, admirarse, institūtum
Washington DC-based progressive think tank which for many years published small booklets on global issues. For the past several years it has published a much-praised yearbook called The State of the World. Also, more recently it published the Vital Signs series, which assesses global health through a series of analytic indicators. AII are fine examples of applied futures scholarship.
