Alternative (option)

Proposal that is opposed to or differs from an initial proposal (trend), concerning a future scenario or a representation of a possible future. Proposal for a system of which only one will be implemented in the future. The concept of "alternative" allows us to formulate empirically possible or desirable futures, while leaving at the same time the scenario concept to exploratory or normative hypothesis, developed more strongly at the methodological level (morphological analysis, etc.)
