Assumption (critical assumption, hypothesis, model)

Evolution postulate of a variable in a given horizon. Doubtful conjecture, but plausible, through which the imaginative anticipation roams over the knowledge. It is intended to be checked later, either by direct observation or by the agreement of all its consequences with the observation.
