Foresight thinking
Origin: Lat. prospectīvus pensare
A system of thought preoccupied with possible futures and how to best react to them. It gathers information concerning the key drivers of change in a situation, posits plausible as well as probable futures and takes action to avoid undesirable futures or to make preferred futures come about.
