Government foresight
Origin: Lat. gubernāre prospicere
Foresight for governments and government agencies. Can apply to branches (executive, judicial, legislative) and at various levels. Government foresight approaches include monitoring trends, forecasts, scenarios, vision, goals, and strategies. Often there is a participatory component to government foresight, within the sponsoring organization and with the public.
