International geosphere-biosphere programme

The International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme is dedicated to the investigation of global change in order to provide the adequate knowledge that guarantees the sustainability of the planet. Its research is focused on the interactions and relations among the biological, physical, and chemical processes with human beings and how these relations can have an impact on the environment.
