Origin: Del gr. ἤλεκτρον
Branch of science and technology that deals with the controlled flow of electrons. The ability to control the flow of electrons is usually applied to information management or to control any device. The electronics is different from electrical science and technology, which is responsible for the generation, distribution, control and application of electrical power.
