Exploration
Origin: Del lat. expertus
An anticipatory inquiry that investigates a wide range of possible future developments, considered from a variety of perspectives. An exploration looks at the requirements, implications and consequences of a wide scope of possible developments, rather than defining the futures considered as most probable or most desirable. Explorative scenarios are often distinguished from predictive and normative scenarios.
Spanish: Exploración
