Origin: Lat. imāgo, -ĭnis, futūrus
Representations detailed in words or pictures of the behavior, movement, or possible future states of being that can act as warnings in order to avoid them or as “magnets” in order to realize them. These representations are used in the field of Future Studies as subjects of analysis and for the active development and pursuit of preferred future scenarios.
