Mission
Origin: Lat. missĭo, -ōnis
Specifies an organization’s role in achieving a vision. It does not contain specific strategies or goals; rather, it clarifies the purpose and scope of the organization and what the organization will do to pursue their vision. It is a brief description of a company's fundamental purpose. A mission statement is a “raison d’être” and answers the question, "Why do we exist?"
Spanish: Misión
